Welcome to the Andrew Hopwood
Andrew is an established singing teacher in Gloucestershire and has developed a wide client base from beginners to students about to enter the profession. He also is a visiting teacher to The Cheltenham Ladies College.
Andrew has worked on regular contracts for Opera North in Leeds, Scottish Opera, director of Music at The Episcopal Church in Ayr and as Music Director of the Good Shepherd Chorus (Glasgow) in conducting Orchestras. He still continues to sing professionally in Oratorio and concerts and has been a soloist across the United Kingdom and into Europe as well. He frequently works with Opera Sulis, a Bath based professional group. Andrew also has his own show called ‘Fifth Spear from the left’ or ‘How to become a Redundant Opera Singer’.
